i feel maternal towards clav
and before anyone says “that is a grown man” yes obviously. for some evil biological reason he makes people develop maternal instincts immediately. like objectively you are watching a man do the most insane self destructive side quests imaginable. steroids. bone smashing. arrests. genuinely dystopian male activities. but then he gets on live looking sleepy in a hoodie and suddenly everyone’s like :( my poor baby. it’s because he has “pathetic little guy” aura goin awn. pathetic in the way a wet stray cat is pathetic. like he gives off the energy that he forgets to drink water and survives off one meal and nicotine and whatever they give him in those clubs (want some more bro?). female brains see that and immediately start trying to psychologically adopt him. and the thing is the internet LOVES a doomed boy. especially one who looks like he’s crumbling a little around the edges. clav always looks vaguely distressed in a way that makes people project softness onto him even when he’s literally being like insane publicly. also his whole vibe is weirdly juvenile. like despite all the controversy around him there’s still something about him that feels awkward teenage boy. he doesn’t come across polished or calculated. he comes across like somebody gave a 17 year old infinite internet access and a platform. hashtag rainbet or whatever. which is why people react to him less like a scary influencer and more like a newborn. like yes logically he is a controversial adult man making his own choices. but sometimes i look at him and think he just needs a mother's love.
