how to tell if he likes you or just likes access to you

this is actually not confusing people just ignore the obvious

if he likes you, he shows up. if he likes access, he pops in.

like a guy who likes you will make actual plans. not last minute “what are you doing tonight” when it’s already late. he wants to see you on purpose. you’re not something he squeezes in.

but if he just likes access, it’s always when it’s convenient. when he’s bored, when nothing else is going on, when you’re easy to reach. you’re not the plan, you’re just there.

also the energy thing… it doesn’t randomly disappear if he actually likes you. you’re not gonna hear from him, then not hear from him, then suddenly he’s back like nothing happened. that’s not interest, that’s him checking if you’re still available.

and be honest, you can feel the difference. when someone likes you, it’s calm. you’re not thinking about it all day. you’re not rereading messages or wondering what you did wrong.

when it’s just access, you feel a little… on standby. like you’re waiting for him to decide he’s bored enough to talk to you. and everything stays in that weird middle zone where nothing really moves forward.

and i’m sorry but if weeks go by and it’s still just random texts and no real effort, he doesn’t like you like that. he just likes that you’re there.

don’t let someone treat you like an option and call it “they’re just bad at texting”

they’re not. they just don’t care enough.
