 dump a guy if he won’t buy you flowers even if he’s hot and muscular. because muscles don’t translate to effort and being attractive doesn’t excuse being low effort. flowers are not about money or tradition or instagram pics. they’re about thought. about seeing something and thinking of you. about doing something small just because it would make you smile. if a guy refuses to do that and frames it like it’s stupid or unnecessary or “not his thing,” what he’s really saying is he doesn’t care enough to try. and yeah he might look good shirtless and yeah he might get attention everywhere he goes, but if he can’t handle a basic gesture without acting allergic to romance, that’s a preview. today it’s flowers. tomorrow it’s birthdays. then it’s showing up. attraction fades fast when you feel like you’re asking for crumbs. you don’t need to beg a man to be thoughtful. the right one won’t argue with you about something that simple. so if he’s hot but emotionally lazy, let him be hot somewhere else. you’ll survive without the abs. you won’t survive feeling unchosen.
